The Guardians of Night by Groovebird The Guardians of Night by Groovebird
The two Guardians deserve a separate upload in my opinion.
They are part of THIS carriage set.
They are made of resin and epoxy putty, and I’ve painted&lacquered them with water-based acrylic paints and different types of lacquers.
If you like my sculptures, like me on Facebook , where you can find pictures of the guardians and more.

I was reading your notes on the e-bay link for these two and the carriage and you said that making another one of the carriage sets is "out of the question," and I see you don't take commissions. May I ask why? Is it because you take pride in the stuff you create (as you should) and don't want to 'lessen' the value of each work by making more than one? Something like each piece is special in its own way? I only wonder because if you did do commissions, I'm sure you'd make a lot.

That being said, how do you decide what to make next? Just whatever catches your fancy at the time?

Well, for one, yes, I take pride in them indeed, and for two, I want to create my ideas, not others'. It makes me happy if I think something out and then I create it. For my happiness. And that's a very nice addition that I can sell them.:)

Okay, I can respect that. I hope I can one day own something made by you. Your works are fantastic.

Do you take commissions? If so, how much would you charge for something like this?

No, unfortunately I don't take any commissions. My actual works are usually for sale, I always take note of them, you can buy them.
